With the development of the rubber industry, it has been paid more attention to the standardization of the test methods and its data quality. Since there may be existing some cumulative errors in processing and assembly which may cause to test data differences, the repeatability and reproducability of test data can be improved by usually adjusting die gap of the rheometer. In accordance with the relevant ASTM Standard, the die gap can be adjusted in a range of 0.40mm~0.50mm, larger gap lower torque, vice versa.
